Office Assistant / Bookkeeper - Boston

After extensive training, you will take over the following tasks

  • Receive and screen incoming phone calls and emails
  • Process Account Receivable/Payable using QuickBooks
  • Conduct reconciliation all accounts on and as needed basis
  • Maintain and balance the general ledger in an accurate, complete and up-to-date manner
  • Perform account receivable functions including invoicing, deposits, collections and revenue recognition
  • Sales and Use tax payments in different states on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis
  • Support annual corporate tax filings
  • Assist in additional tasks such as benefit’s enrolment or onboarding of new hires
  • Additional duties as assigned

Your skills

  • Associates or bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related fields
  • 3-5 years relevant experience working in accounting and bookkeeping
  • Experience as an accounting specialist
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications (Excel, Word and Power Point) and QuickBooks
  • Experience with ERP and CRM systems and data entry
  • Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable and general ledger
  • Excellent customer service skills and the ability to work with an International Team
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
