After extensive training, you will take over the following tasks
- Discover new possibilities for DELO as a trendscout who has a deep understanding of technology and production. You know all about actual trends in the market of consumer electronics and train your colleagues in PM, engineering and R&D in new technologies.
- Thanks to your technical knowhow and by exhibitions, congresses and your strong network you identify new application fields or potential key account with promising growth perspectives.
- You’ll keep on building your network with all relevant market actors, especially with technical deciders over materials and manufacturing. Using this network you will deepen your knowledge and working on DELO’s reputation and market presence.
- Together with sales, product management and marketing you work on developing new markets and you will be the lead of the global steps in the crucial launch phase.
- While taking care of new markets and customers you will get support from regional sales managers, product managers and a strong engineering team in our headquarters.
- After a successful launch you can decide whether and when you will hand over the new field or technology to the sales team and start searching for new possibilities.
Your skills
- Bachelors’ or Masters’ degree in engineering with focus on process engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, physics, or similar with top grades. A technical academic background is mandatory.
- Professional experience and a strong professional network in B2B sales, technical marketing or business development in the field of Consumer Electronics.
- Strong technical background with a solid understanding of relevant technologies.
- Willingness to international business trips and excellent English skills.
- Team spirit, high degree of initiative and responsibility in combinations with straight communication and good presentation abilities.
- Strategic and entrepreneurial thinking- and working attitude.
