Market Research Analyst


  • Conducting targeted research on company, market, and competitive information within the adhesive market, as well as in our customers' markets, using databases, the internet, literature, etc., with a particular focus on the Chinese market
  • Interpreting and processing of the gathered data into meaningful analyses
  • Further development and maintenance of the company's internal database
  • Carrying out market and competition monitoring and analyzing future trends
  • Collaborating with colleagues from product management and sales to build up internal knowledge
  • Supporting other departments with ad-hoc requests around market and product development


  • Technical or business degree with a strong technical understanding, or alternatively, relevant apprenticeship with relevant professional experience
  • Experience with market and competition analyses as well as knowledge of empirical methods is advantageous
  • Detailed knowledge of internet and database searches
  • Strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills as well as the ability to quickly recognize correlations
  • High affinity for technology
  • Very good English and Chinese language skills and a confident handling of the Microsoft Office package, ideally also in Microsoft Power BI or comparable visualization tools


  • Training providing specific knowledge about adhesives and joining technologies (prior expertise in adhesives is not required!)
