DELO PHOTOBOND LA4860 Guarantees Fast Production
DELO PHOTOBOND LA4860 is a modified urethane polymer that features a light-activated curing mechanism with subsequent humidity curing. The adhesive begins to cure once it is exposed to UV light or visible light, following dispensing, and before joining the components. The actual curing takes place at room temperature after joining, through the ambient air’s humidity.
Because of its unique curing mechanism, opaque components, like display frames, which often have a black mask on the edge of areas or are bonded to the housings, can be quickly and reliably joined without the need for additional heat curing.
Initial strength is reached after a few minutes. Achieving prefixation in seconds accelerates the production process and is also advantageous when the adhesive is being used for sealing, coating, potting or encapsulating.
This new solvent-free adhesive can be used at temperatures ranging from -40°C to +110°C. It has very good tension-equalizing characteristics with an elongation at tear of 350%.
Optimal Solution for Sealing Large Bonding Gaps: DELO-PUR SJ9356
DELO-PUR SJ9356 is a two-component polyurethane-based adhesive that is free of isocyanates and silicones. It cures at room temperature and reaches its initial strength after approximately 4 hours.
This flexible adhesive ensures stable and tension-equalizing bonds and seals, even with changing loads. Its flow resistance and excellent wet adhesion makes it well suited for sealing larger gaps (> 2mm) and protecting components from humidity and dust.
DELO-PUR SJ9356 comes in hobbocks. For easier handling, it is also available in double chamber cartridges, making mixing and dispensing fast and easy. This two component adhesive can be used in temperatures ranging from -40°C to 105°C and has an elongation at tear of 120%.
