Interview
Julia
Training officer
Julia, tell us a little about yourself.
I started my career with an apprenticeship as an industrial clerk at DELO. After a short stint in sales, I switched to the HR department, effectively changing sides from trainee to training manager. During this time, I studied business psychology alongside my job.
I live in the district of Landsberg, play football in my free time, go hiking, or read a good book – preferably with a view of the sea. Traveling is my great passion; I enjoy getting to know new places, cultures, and people. One of my most unforgettable trips was an eight-week backpacking tour through Southeast Asia.
What do you like about your job?
The opportunity to genuinely support and promote our trainees. I can empathize with their situation and understand the challenges they face. It gives me joy to help them develop and see how they grow and settle in at DELO.
What makes DELO special?
The family-like corporate culture – even our trainees are full-fledged team members from day one. The working atmosphere is friendly and open. Many colleagues have become friends, partly thanks to the unforgettable summer parties and Christmas celebrations that bring the whole team together. From my own experience, I can say that training at DELO is not only educational but also a lot of fun.
