Dual study program
Business Informatics (B.Sc.)
The dual study program in business informatics combines theoretical education with practical phases and prepares you for a wide range of jobs. The program links business administration content with IT expertise. Typical study content includes fundamentals of business and economics, programming, software development, databases, IT management, information systems, project management, and business process analysis.
What you will learn with us
- Practical Phase: You will support our teams in various departments, directly applying and deepening your theoretical knowledge. You will also familiarize yourself with different areas of our IT department, including software, hardware, IT security, and strategic process management.
- Theoretical Phase: In collaboration with DHBW Ravensburg, you will complete a Bachelor of Science in Business Informatics within three years – the foundation for your career at DELO.
- From workplace computers to entire server systems, you will work with hardware and software, installing and configuring them.
- You will acquire knowledge in systematic troubleshooting and problem-solving in IT systems and learn how to protect IT systems from threats and ensure data protection.
You will learn how to plan, set up, and manage networks.
What you should bring
- Abitur (German university entrance qualification) or Fachabitur (advanced technical college certificate)
- Strong performance in subjects like mathematics, business administration, and computer science at school.
- You have an interest in IT topics and bring technical understanding.
- Your strengths include communication, independence, willingness to learn, and organization.
- Your MS Office and English skills are good.
