Collection and processing personal data
General
When you visit our Websites, our Web server saves temporary to the purpose of system safety the domain name or the IP address of the inquiring computer as well as the access date, the file request of the client (file name and URL), the HTTP answer code, the Website from which you visited us and the number of bytes transmitted in the course of the connection. If need be, we save some information on your computer in the form of "cookies" so that we may optimize our Websites in accordance with you preferences. The cookies we utilize do not collect any personal information. In most web browsers, cookies are automatically accepted. You can avoid cookies or remove them from your computer at any time by changing your browser settings.
Analyse internet
In order to offer you a better service and to improve the user experience of our Websites, we use a traffic management solution that utilizes the cookie technology. Google analyzes your use of this website on our behalf as a processor and generates reports on website activities. We use Thomas WebTrax™ from Thomas Publishing LLC, USA. WebTrax recognizes visits by companies to our website based on IP addresses and shows us publicly available information for this purpose, such as company names or addresses. In addition, Web Trax sets two first-party cookies to evaluate user behavior on our website and processes domains from form entries to correlate IP addresses with companies and improve the services. We use the analytics service ZoomInfo WebSights from the provider ZoomInfo Technologies LLC (USA) on our website.
ZoomInfo WebSights collects the IP addresses of users in order to identify organizations. For this purpose, ZoomInfo uses publicly available information, licenses data from other companies and collects information itself.
No direct conclusions are drawn about individual persons. We analyze visit data by categories such as industry, revenue, number of employees and location in order to target advertising campaigns to organizations.
ZoomInfo WebSights uses cookies to analyze the use of our website and processes IP addresses in the process. This is done with your consent in accordance with Section 25 (1) TDDDG and Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR. You can revoke this consent at any time via our Consent Management Tool with effect for the future.

The personal data you entered as part of the data sheet ordering process will be collected, processed and used exclusively for the purpose of determining whether you are a competitor and then for processing your order. To confirm registration and to make it possible to track misuse of the data you entered, we take the additional step of storing the date, time and IP at the time of registration. The legal foundation for processing your data is Article 6 Section 1 lit. a, f of the General Data Protection Regulation (DSGVO).

Ordering BOND it
The personal data you entered as part of the process of ordering BOND it will be collected, processed and used exclusively for the purpose of processing your order. To confirm registration and to make it possible to track misuse of the data you entered, we take the additional step of storing the date, time and IP at the time of registration. The legal foundation for processing your data is Article 6 Section 1 lit. a, f of the General Data Protection Regulation (DSGVO). In individual cases, your personal data will be sent to a authorized dealer so that your request can be processed.

Newsletter
On our websites, you can subscribe to our newsletters so that you can receive information on current issues, new products as well as receiving tips and tricks on connection technology. In the scope of the subscribing process, we collect some personal data like your name and your e-mail address. To receive the newsletter, all you have to do is enter your e-mail address. To confirm registration and to make it possible to track misuse of the e-mail address you entered, we take the additional step of storing the date, time and IP at the time of registration. By entering your e-mail address and sending in the form, you agree to receive our newsletter (Article 6 Sect. 1 lit. a General Data Protection Act (DSGVO)).
Any other personal data entered is used exclusively for personalizing and sending out our e-mails. To send out e-mail, we use the third-party supplier email application inxmail for the purpose of saving and processing your personal data. We do not otherwise provide personal data to third parties.
To prevent the misuse of e-mail addresses and to meet the requirements for effective newsletter mailings, subscribers are requested to confirm their subscription to our newsletters using an automated e-mail process (double opt-in). Once registration has been successfully confirmed, the registration process is completed and the newsletter is sent to you.
In a statistical purpose, we perform an anonymized link-tracking. It is not possible to identify specific receivers.
Naturally, you can cancel your subscription at any time by either conveniently using the link that can be found at the bottom of each of our e-mails or by sending the form along with your e-mail address when you select the “unsubscribe” field on page https://www.delo-adhesives.com/us/press-and-news/newsletter or per e-mail contact@DELO.de.
After successfully unsubscribing, the personal data used for the purpose of newsletter mailings will be deleted as soon as their purpose has been fulfilled, insofar as you have not expressly agreed to other processing options or legal retention obligations do not prohibit the deletion of such data.
Press mailing list
From our websites, you can subscribe to our press mailing list in order to receive current company press releases from DELO and information on new products. As part of the subscription process, we do collect some of your personal data, such as your name and your e-mail address. To receive the press mailing list, all you have to do is enter your e-mail address. To confirm registration and to make it possible to track misuse of the e-mail address you entered, we take the additional step of storing the date, time and IP at the time of registration. By entering your e-mail address and sending in the form, you agree to receive our press mailing list (Art. 6 Sect. 1 lit. a General Data Protection Act (DSGVO)).
Any other personal data entered is used exclusively for personalizing and sending out our e-mails. Your data shall not be passed on to any third party.

Registering for seminar / training workshop
The personal data you entered as part of the registration process for a seminar / training workshop will be collected and stored in our systems. Your personal data will be processed and used exclusively for the purpose of registration, invoicing and conducting the seminar. To confirm registration and to make it possible to track misuse of the data you entered, we take the additional step of storing the date, time and IP at the time of registration.
Your personal data will be made available only on an as-needed basis to the provider of the event location as well as to any external lecturers. Unless you have expressly agreed to other processing options or legal retention obligations prohibit the deletion of such data, your personal data will be deleted as soon as their purpose has been fulfilled.
Application form
DELO makes protecting your private and personal sphere a top priority. At DELO, your data is treated as strictly confidential and is protected from unauthorized access or manipulation by various technical and organizational actions. The personal data you entered as part of your job application will be used exclusively for the recruiting process and will only be made accessible to authorized persons involved in the recruiting process. The authorized and involved persons are usually the responsible employees from personnel, the Management and the technical department responsible for dealing with the position you are applying for. If you are submitting an unsolicited application, your documents may be passed on to all technical departments for which your job application could be of interest.
The legal foundation for processing your data is Article 88 Sub-section 1 of the General Data Protection Regulation (DSGVO) in connection with Section 26 Sub-section 1 of the Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG).
If you have your curriculum vitae filled in automatically for pre-completing the online job application form, the data transmitted for this purpose will be taken from your documents and transmitted to our external service provider Joinvision E-Services GmbH, who will process the data. This processing is done as part of order data processing and has the only objective of transferring the communicated data to our information dialog windows. No further processing shall take place. In particular, the collected data shall not be saved automatically by us, but can be checked by you and will not transmitted until you send them to DELO,
Other than that, your data shall not be forwarded to third parties.
Your personal data will be automatically deleted 9 months after the rejection of your application has been communicated to you. This shall not apply if you have agreed to another processing option or oppose the deletion of legal retention obligations. These may include:
Being considered for other positions (if you have agreed to that):
The responsible employees from personnel will compare your application data, if you have selected this option, within the application process also with comparable job openings. To this end, your data may be made available, to the extent required, to the additionally relevant technical departments. Our priority will be, of course, to consider your original desired position.
Talent pool (if you have agreed to that):
Unfortunately, we will not be able to offer all applicants immediately their desired position. However, it is important to DELO to stay in contact with interesting applicants in order to be able to offer them a position that may be of interest in the near future. If agreed to by you, your data communicated as part of your job application will therefore be saved for an overall period of 24 months, following your inclusion in our talent pool. During this period, only the employees from personnel responsible for you will be given access to your data in order to determine your suitability for job openings. Should we find a suitable position for you, you will be contacted by the responsible employee from personnel in order to find out whether you want to be considered for the position. Only if we receive positive feedback from you, will your data be passed on to the relevant technical department. Since this does not require a new job application, we would ask you to communicate to us any change in your data. You can, of course, request at any time that your data be deleted from the talent pool.

Contact support in Extended-Relationship-Management (XRM)
Contact details (especially name, address, job title, e-mail address and phone number) that we receive in the course of business communication, at events or in some similar manner (handing out of business cards) or that we research from public domain sources are stored at DELO for initiating and concluding contracts, and also to maintain our records of business contacts. For this, these contact details are transferred to our XRM.
This processing of personal details is conducted, where applicable, to carry out pre-contractual procedures and to fulfil a contract (Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. b GDPR) and also, on the basis of our justified interest in the upkeep of contacts that arise in the context of our business activity, and that should be used for further development of those contacts and business relationships that proceed from them (Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR)
General Sweepstakes Rules
The duration of the sweepstakes varies and is determined based on the information provided. If not stated otherwise, a specific prize will be awarded. Eligible participants must be 18 years or older and meet the specified entry requirements. The regular sweepstakes duration is one week from the time of the sweepstakes posting - unless otherwise stated in the posting - and typically involves a specific prize being awarded.
Failure to meet these conditions will result in disqualification from the sweepstakes. Winners will be randomly selected and notified via the provided contact information. Each winner has 5 business days to provide their address details, otherwise the prize will be redrawn.
Cash payment or transfer of the prize to other individuals is not possible. Participant contact information will be collected and stored for winner determination. Employees and their family members are excluded from participation. Winners will be informed via private message on their Facebook/Instagram account and must provide their address details within 5 business days, otherwise the prize will be redrawn. The Facebook/Instagram names of participants will be collected and stored for winner determination. All data will be deleted no later than 30 days after the end of the sweepstakes, while comments on Facebook/Instagram will remain publicly visible.

Use and forwarding of the above-mentioned personal data
Your personal data is used exclusively for the technical administration of the websites and to meet your wishes and requests. We shall not disclose any data to government agencies unless required to do so by law. Our employees are obligated to treat your data confidentially.

To protect your personal data stored in our systems from unauthorized access and abuse we have introduced extensive technical and operational security measures. Our security procedures are checked regularly and are adapted to meet technological advances.
URL Shortener
We use the services of bit.ly Inc, (New York City (HQ), 139, 5TH. Avenue, 5th. Floor, New York, NY 10010, USA, to shorten URLs when posting to social media platforms and to create QR codes. Bit.ly collects anonymous usage data to tell us how often a particular shortened link was clicked. This information is aggregated and not reported on an individual basis. Bit.ly does not collect personally identifiable information about you and does not have access to information you provide to us. We chose Bit.ly as our preferred URL shortening service due to it's a company, registered under the EU-US Privacy Shield, which means that it offers data protection standards comparable to those of the GDPR.

Rights of the data subject
Right of access, Art. 15 GDPR
You may request us to grant access to personal data which are processed by us. We would ask you to define your issue precisely in order to make it easier for us to compile the required data. As a precaution we would like to point out that your right of access may in some circumstances be excluded or limited according to statutory provisions (particularly sec. 34 Federal Data Protection Act).
Right to rectification, Art. 16 GDPR
Provided that the personal data concerning you are inaccurate or incomplete, you may request the correction and/or completion.
Right to erasure, Art. 17 GDPR
Under the conditions of Art. 17 GDPR you can demand immediate erasure of the personal data concerning you. The right to erasure may be limited or excluded. Grounds for exclusion particularly exist if the erasure is barred by a legal obligation requiring the processing according to Union or Member State law to which the controller is subject.
Right to restriction of processing, Art. 18 GDPR
Under the conditions of Art. 18 GDPR you may demand restriction of the future processing of personal data concerning you.
The right to data portability, Art. 20 GDPR
Under the conditions of Art. 20 GDPR you have the right to receive the personal data, which you have provided to us, in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format and to transmit the personal data to a third party, respectively, if this is technically feasible.
Right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, Art. 77 GDPR
If you consider that the processing of personal data relating to you infringes any data protection laws, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. Such a complaint will be lodged without prejudice to any other administrative or legal remedy. The complaint can be lodged in particular in the Member State of your habitual residence, your place of work or the place of the alleged infringement.
Right to object, Art. 21 GDPR
Pursuant to Art. 21 GDPR, you have the right to object, on grounds relating to your particular situation, at any time to the processing of personal data concerning you. Please note that the processing cannot be ceased, if we demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing which override the interests, rights and freedoms of the data subject or for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.
If you object to processing for direct marketing purposes, the personal data concerning you will no longer be used for such purposes.
Right of revocation of the consent under data protection laws
