I like working in product management. I used to be a technical assistant, but now I'm a specialist in consumer assembly. My motto: paths are created by walking them. I appreciate the varied tasks in my new position, the constant new challenges and the international networking. As a specialist, I have more responsibility than before and can deal with technical issues more intensively.

A few years ago, I took the plunge from the trades into logistics at DELO. Today, as group leader, I manage the incoming goods department and lead a team of six colleagues. I really enjoy it, but it's also a challenge. For this position, I did the logistics master part-time. Training courses for managers have helped me a lot. My advice to others who want to get ahead: don't say 'I want to', but let actions speak for the fact that you want to. And see the company as a whole, not just your own area.
