Active alignment requires maximum precision to ensure that your camera modules deliver the best possible image quality. When actively aligning optical components such as lenses and image sensors, it is important that they can no longer change their position once they are ideally aligned. Thanks to the fast light fixation of our adhesives, the components are precisely fixed within a few seconds and hold their position reliably from this point until final curing.
The extremely short light fixation time of less than one second enables particularly fast cycle times for active alignment. In addition, the dual-curing technology enables the effective curing of hard-to-reach shadow areas of your camera modules through heat curing. The adhesives in this series cure at low temperatures. First Lens Bonding
High-precision bonding of the top lens package
The first lens bonding process is an essential step in the production of your camera modules. The uppermost lens must be precisely and securely bonded to the lens carrier or frame.
With the right chemicals, this critical connection reduces possible distortions caused by production tolerances, among other things. The first lens bonding process lays the foundation for the subsequent optical performance of the entire camera system. The DELO DUALBOND SJ and DELO PHOTOBOND FB product families offer ideal solutions here.
The SJ product family impresses in first lens bonding with fast light fixation and a subsequent heat-curing process, which is ideal for hard-to-reach areas such as shadow zones. These adhesives also offer excellent flexibility, which makes them particularly suitable for a wide range of applications.
The FB product family is characterized by its extremely fast light fixation in just 1 to 5 seconds and offers a sufficiently dry surface relative to other acrylics.

Periscope Cameras

Periscope cameras are a revolutionary development in smartphone technology. They offer optical zoom capabilities in an exceptionally compact format. Compared to conventional camera modules, periscope cameras use a system of mirrors or prisms that deflect the light at an angle to the image sensor. This allows a greater focal length without requiring additional space in terms of the "thickness" of the smartphone.
Periscope cameras place the highest demands on their manufacturing processes: The mirrors and prisms must be positioned and bonded with high precision. This ensures that the optical axis is precisely aligned and no distortions or image errors occur.
The "Prism Attach" connection is the main bonding point that securely fixes the prism within the periscope. This connection is crucial to keep the prism stable in position, ensuring precise optical alignment. This is very important for the image quality of your cameras.
The "Prism Side Fill" bonding provides additional support by stabilizing the sides of the prism. This secondary bonding not only contributes to the structural integrity of the entire system. It also helps to absorb vibrations and shocks that can occur in everyday use.
