Cooperation with DELO
Our customer Melexis relies on adhesives from DELO for the development of its high-performance MEMS pressure sensors of the Triphibian family.
These sensors must withstand extreme conditions - including pressure peaks of up to 2,000 bar/ms and static burst pressures of up to 210 bar - while remaining reliably in contact with liquid media. A high-strength and durable connection between components is crucial for the durability and stability of the sensors.
To meet these requirements, Melexis needed an adhesive that not only had high adhesive strength, but also temperature and media resistance. This is exactly where our high-performance adhesives of the DELO MONOPOX HT series came into play - materials that were specially developed for applications with extraordinary mechanical and thermal loads.
In extensive tests with the Melexis sensor Triphibian MLX90830, the DELO MONOPOX HT adhesive used showed impressive results:
