DELO, one of the world’s leading manufacturers of industrial adhesives for automotive, consumer and industrial electronics applications, has enhanced its line of LED area lamps to include a new generation of lamps with a wavelength of 365 nm. The new DELOLUX 20/365 and DELOLUX 202/365 lamps deliver a much higher intensity than their previous models.
These new, compact, high intensity curing lamps, with improved energy efficiency, are available with intensities up to 1,200 mW/cm² or 600 mW/cm². High intensities of 1,200 mW/cm² are ideal for applications where a layer of adhesive needs to be cured quickly between two components that are difficult to irradiate, or where the joined materials are located slightly further away from the light source for design reasons. The adhesive can be cured within seconds while retaining a dry surface.
Both DELOLUX 20/365 and DELOLUX 202/365 lamp heads offer a coverage area of 100 x 100 mm² and 202 x 49 mm² respectively. With their plug and play design, they can easily be integrated into production lines and be arrayed in seamless rows – either in a longitudinal or a transverse direction - while evenly irradiating areas of all shapes and sizes without any shading between individual lamp heads.
The enhanced lamps can be operated with DELOLUX pilot, a base unit with touchscreen that is intuitive to operate and combines the control and power supply of up to four lamp heads.
