High Intensity and Compact Design
Latest generation of curing equipment ensures fast and efficient processes
DELOLUX lamps impress when it comes to fast curing and allow optimal adjustment to the adhesive used. They have a high intensity as well as high energy efficiency and can achieve a service life of more than 20,000 hours, which is significantly higher than that of conventional lamps. Low power consumption and low maintenance make them the perfect choice for users wanting to save costs.
The LED area lamps DELOLUX 20 and DELOLUX 202 are available with a wavelength of 400 nm and 365 nm. The lamp heads have a light exit area of 100 x 100 mm² and 202 x 49 mm² respectively. They can be integrated in production lines using plug & play, and be arrayed in seamless rows, either longitudinally or transversely. Even on large bonding areas, or down long irradiation lines, this assures homogeneous and reliable curing without any shading between individual lamp heads.
Thanks to the increased intensities of 2.000 mw/cm² (400 nm) and 1.200 mW/cm² (365 nm) the curing of the adhesives can be accelerated, enabling, at the same time, higher production yield rates. The use of very high intensities (1200 mW/cm²) is particularly well suited when a layer of adhesive needs to be cured quickly between two components that are difficult to irradiate, or where the joined materials are located slightly further away from the light source for design reasons. Thanks to their high intensity levels, geometries that are difficult to access can be irradiated. As a consequence, the adhesive can be cured within seconds while retaining a dry surface. To ensure process reliability, users should regularly check the intensity on the component by means of the DELOLUXcontrol light intensity meter.
Easy handling with DELOLUX pilot
The active, air-cooled curing lamps can be operated with the base unit DELOLUX pilot that combines the control and power supply of up to four lamp heads. Users can chose between two versions. While one was designed solely for integration into PLC-controlled processing systems, the other one also offers additional manual controlling via a touch screen. Depending on the quantity and intensity of the lamp heads that have to be controlled, different extension stages are available.
